Preferred formats
The preferred printable formats for sending to us are as follows:-
PDF: Please make sure that no compression or down sampling is used, all fonts need to be embedded within the PDF file and all transparent objects need to be flattened, the best preset for this is pdfx-3.
Plt: The best driver to use for this format is the designjet from HP, the preferred model is the 750c, please make sure that your pen setup is mapped with pen weights to coloured layers.
Other file formats
Graphic files: Tiffs, jpegs and eps files
Cad/Gis files: Dwg, Dxf, cgm and vectorworks dwgs (all these formats incur an additional cost)
Dtp: Quark, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Pagemaker
Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint, (we do accept these formats but they have known problems when printing from, so we do not except any responsibility when printing from these formats.)
